The Indian Navy trains its officers at INA Ezhimala and commissions across executive, technical and specialist branches.
After Class 12
- NDA (Naval) — UPSC written → SSB → Medical (upsconline.nic.in).
- 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry — shortlisted on JEE Mains → SSB. Apply at joinindiannavy.gov.in.
After Graduation
- CDS – INA — UPSC CDS → SSB → Medical (upsconline.nic.in).
- SSC Executive – GS(X) & Technical, SSC Pilot / Observer, SSC Logistics / ATC / Education / Law — shortlist → SSB (& PABT for pilots). Apply at joinindiannavy.gov.in.
- NCC Special Entry (Naval) — with an NCC 'C' certificate.
